Fatal Attrition: Chapter fourDamon finally woke two days later, "Where the hell am I?" He jumped up into a sitting position and started yelling for Seth. A nearby nurse came running into the room trying to calm Damon down. Seth was just down the hall, talking to Judd about how he had found Damon, "SETH WHERE ARE YOU, IF YOU'RE DEAD I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Damon thought he was being funny. Seth and Judd came running.
"What? Are you alright?" Seth was panting from the short run down the hall. He had one hand on the door frame and the other on his knee, "Damon you're fine; you're in the hospital so you're fine, you jerk." He said this between panting breaths. Seth left as the doctor walked into the room. Damon struggled to escape but failed due to all the pain he was in. The doctor didn't say a word as he strapped Damon to the bed and walked out of the room. "Uh doc is he going to be alright?"
"Yes, he's fine. Yeah he's going to be in pain, and needs rest, but his problem here is that, like you said, he's a jer
Fatal Attrition: Chapter three"What do you mean we can't go home?" Seth was starting to get annoyed with the police here; not that the cops back home were any better. "I am sure I am not the only one here that wants us to be home." He was referring to Danny as if she was still alive. The several police with Seth gave him looks of disapproval as he kept yelling at Williams.
"Seth, we don't make the rules, we just follow them. I was told that she has to stay here while the investigation goes on. She may have evidence. Besides, we can't have you go home alone; we still need to find your friends." Williams felt quite helpless. "Officer Keys, here, found the car registered to your brother, not too far from where they left you. Looks like your friends were on their way back to get you two kids."
"What do you mean 'found'? Where is Damon?" the stress was starting to get to him. Damon was Seth's older brother. "There is NO way I'm losing two people close to me in one week. Where ARE they?" he was sho
Fatal Attraction: Chapter Two"Alright kid, really what happened? I don't understand what you're telling us," Officer Williams said a little angry that he had no clue what to do. Seth was sitting in the police station now. The room the two men were in was kind of unexpected for a police department. It had tall ceilings and bright walls; not very Hollywood movie type at all. Seth was unable to stand; he was cuffed to the desk, the officer's orders. Williams looks down at him as Seth gave him a look of desperation to see Danny. "You know I can't let you go right now, not until we get things cleared up." He took a step back when he saw Seth strike the desk with his fist. "Come on now! Really just tell me what happened, if you didn't do anything like you claimed then you'll be fine."
Seth sat up, from his slouching position. "Do you know what it's like not being able to not help someone you care about?" His voice sounded lower than before. "You want to know what happened, then ask Danny." He had never been a
Fatal Attraction: chapter oneShe ran, faster than she could have ever thought she could have run
"Danny! Wait up. Danny!" the boy running after her called, short of breath. He couldn't keep up. 'What's her deal?' the boy thought, running with his camera still taping. "Danny!" he called once more. She wouldn't slow; she was running for her life, but why? The sound of a blood curdling scream rose from the woods a few hundred feet from the boy. 'Was I that far from her?' He thought, running faster now. It was dark now from the tall pine and oak trees. How would he ever find her now? He fell, tripping over a large branch; the camera fell to the ground, pointed up at the boys face. He laid there for a short moment trying to catch his breath. He griped his camera only using it as a light source (it had a night light on it). He didn't have to move far before he stumbled upon a body, Danny's body. He tossed the camera aside, light directed at the two college students. He grabbed her shoulders and
